Chapter 16: The Marrows is a chapter in Dark Deity.

After receiving aspects and wisdom from Koeli-Sumash, the party feels confident enough to search for the aspect-stealing necromancer in Delia. Vesta asks a contact in Delia, Irene, to search for the necromancer. But from Irene the party learns that King Varic has become a tyrant ever since they left Delia. Due to Irving's determination to keep his mother safe and protect Delia's citizens, the party agrees to do something about Delia's corruption. Lincoln suggests first establishing a base in the Marrows, a dangerous yet discreet mountain outpost.

At the Marrows, the party meets Fenton, a dwarven inhabitant who needs help to defeat the dragon of the Marrows and reclaim his inheritance. The party agrees to help Fenton, and defeats the dragon of the Marrows. Fenton decides to stay with the party in order to watch his inheritance, until he feels prepared to haul it back home. Naming their new base Marrowhold, the party may now mount rebellions against King Varic.
