How Weapons Work

Weapons work very differently from how you'd expect. Every character always has access to 4 unbreakable and varied weapons that can be switched to at any time. Each of the 4 weapons are part of a weapon tree that focuses on one of the four weapon stats: Power, Crit, Accuracy, and Weight (Power, Finesse, Focus, and Balance). There are 8 weapons in each weapon tree. Each Tier of weapons has a normal form and a + form. To get to the next Tier, a weapon must be upgraded to the + version first. Weapon Type also plays a role in the weapon's stats. Ex: Swords weigh less than Axes, and Axes have more Power than Swords.

How Upgrading Works

To upgrade weapons, an item called Weapon Tokens are required. Each tier of weapons requires the corresponding Weapon Token to upgrade it. Tokens and weapons go up to 4 Tiers. Ex: A Tier 2 Weapon requires a Tier 2 Token to upgrade.
