Samara
Backstory
Samara is the daughter of Serenity Rhoane, King Rhoane of Aramor's only sister. She grew up in luxury in the Aramoran palace along with her older half-sister Sara. Due to King Rhoane only ever having one child, the sisters are 4th and 5th in line for the throne.
From as early as she can remember, Samara was groomed to be queen. In Aramor, which has had a tumultuous history with many assassinations, it is expected that any who might one day assume the throne are ready for it. What may have been a life of comfort and ease in other nations was a hard slog to capability for Samara.
Sara, who is one year older, has been Samara's role model all her life. She is driven, intelligent, and utterly consumed with her studies. At a young age, Samara concluded that she would never be half the queen that Sara could. She decided that instead of preparing herself, she would commit herself to protecting Sara.
Though Sara has a large extended family on her father's side, she rarely gets to see them. They live halfway across Aramor to the south, and it is difficult to get the palace guards to agree to a trip of that distance. Through the years, Sara and Samara have become inseparable. They are almost always found in the royal library, building upon their already impressive pools of knowledge.
Well known throughout Aramor, they are beloved by the people of Oasis. There is little praise to be shared for King Rhoane's son, and many citizens can be found quietly wishing that the throne will one day fall to one of his cousins.
